Connect to nature! Join me in the great outdoors, where we breathe in the fresh air and ground with the earth. So, kick your shoes off and sink your bare feet into the grass, while you find tranquility and inner peace. In my classes, I combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. I seek to help others thrive and live by nurturing the body, mind and soul with yoga, and my hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.
Are you feeling overwhelmed in a typical class setting? Are you recovering from an injury or have a health concern? Private yoga classes offer students the ability to focus on personal interests, concerns or goals. A private class allows an individual to set specific goals, such as personal goals for flexibility, strength or meditation. In many cases, it results in a greater level of confidence. Private yoga classes may be the right approach to getting started or taking your yoga practice to the next level.
Restorative classes teach the body to surrender allowing for soft tissue injuries to heal, muscles to release, minds to quiet and deepen physical openings. Teach your body when to be active and when to relax to increase performance, reduce stress and heal. This calming, therapeutic class uses props to support the body in order to deepen the benefits of poses. Both soothing and nurturing, this class promotes the effects of conscious relaxation. An opportunity to be still, relax and let go!
What better way to foster the love for health and fitness, than through yoga! Fun, inspirational classes encourage a child's natural thirst for knowledge. In this imaginative series, I combine simple yoga poses with engaging songs and stories that exercise social, sensory and motor skills while increasing flexibility.
Yoga is for everyone, including athletes! Yoga works on strength, flexibility, balance, agility, endurance, core, and overall strength, among other things. Any athlete could benefit hugely by adding yoga to their training regimen. Most importantly, yoga changes the way you think and approach everything in life. When you learn to move with ease and stop forcing things, you will prevent injuries and your body will open with your mind, increasing your flexibility all around.
Meet me at the Barre! It may look like ballet, but it's not. Barre classes mix elements of pilates, dance, yoga and functional training and the moves are choreographed to motivating music. Each energizing and targeted workout, you’ll use the barre and exercise equipment such as mini-balls and small hand weights to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body.
My classes are designed for any age, body type & all levels of yoga practice.
